Bandhu Purulia is a dedicated non-profit organization working towards creating an inclusive and empowering environment for differently-abled children. Established in 2017, we aim to provide quality education, vocational training, and community support to children with special needs, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn, grow, and lead independent lives.
Located in Surulia, Purulia, West Bengal, our center is a beacon of hope for children with autism, cerebral palsy, and other developmental disabilities. We work closely with families, educators, and communities to create an ecosystem that fosters acceptance, understanding, and skill-building.

Our Journey
Founded by a group of passionate individuals who saw the lack of resources for special needs education in Purulia, Bandhu Purulia began with a small group of children and has now grown into a fully operational center. Our journey has been one of resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to our cause. Some of our key milestones include:
- 2017: Established Bandhu Purulia and conducted our first awareness sessions.
- 2018: Launched our special education and therapy programs.
- 2020: Introduced vocational training for young adults with disabilities.
- 2023: Expanded our impact through community outreach and awareness programs.
